Our Ad-hoc support means that even if you've never spoken to us before, we can send a consultant to deal with your IT problems straight away. Of course, if you already have the facility for us to gain remote access to your computer network, we can use this method to deal with your problems as quickly as possible.
Please note that as there is no service level agreement with ad-hoc IT support, it is conducted on a "best endeavours" basis and Microtech Solutions (UK) Limited reserves the right(s) to:
•Delay the work in preference to an existing client where a formal support contract is in place
•Withdraw from works where it is our opinion that there is no likelihood of a remedy
•Withdraw from any works that Microtech Solutions (UK) Limited deems to be a conflict of interest.
As with any ad-hoc agreement there are a few points to bear in mind. Firstly, all data, whether live or stored by means of archive (electronic or otherwise) will remain the responsibility and property of the client. Microtech Solutions (UK) Limited can't give any warranty for the integrity, safe keeping or usage of the data. Our standard ad-hoc agreement will also indemnify Microtech Solutions (UK) Limited for all and any usage of the client data.
Naturally, we can't give any warranty for the work completed by Microtech Solutions (UK) Limited, save the methods to perform a best endeavours fix to the problem. Where no fix is available or possible within the given time, there will be no further requirement for action on the part of Microtech Solutions (UK) Limited, unless of course a customer wishes to purchase further time to attempt a remedy.
IT Support Controlled by You
Once a client has agreed that any works provided by Microtech Solutions (UK) Limited are completed, the job will be deemed finished and any further works will be considered as a new contract, which will be governed by the same terms and conditions. In this way, there is no further obligation by the customer or by Microtech Solutions (UK) Limited.
This makes it the perfect way for smaller businesses to enjoy expert IT support but without having to invest in the commitment required by a contract, leaving them in absolute control of their budget.
Microtech Solutions (UK) Limited will provide labour at an agreed minimum rate of 2 working hours, £75 per hour. Subsequent hours, where required, will be charged at our standard hourly rate (rates are quoted upon request).
